The Group Matches in 2022 has started. Students and teachers are divided into four groups ( Bujo:red / Hiuchi:blue / Ishizuchi:green / Kojo:yellow). The inauguration ceremony was held in Hiuchi Athletic Stadium. Each student did the best, and enjoyed cheering their group members. The bonds of the groups have become deeper, and will be much deeper.
Students of Saijo High School did their best. Many people were impressed by the efforts of the students. Many clubs have obtained the right to participate in the prefectural tournament. They will continue to strive to advance to the national competition. Please support them, and look forward to their success in the near future!!
Our soccer club broke through the wall. They’ve qualified for the prefectural tournament for the first time in twelve years! Please continue your support!!
Since last year, students in 206 ( who belong to the science and mathematics course ) have had a special class once a week. They learn physics and biology in English. We call it S.E.T. (Science in English on Thursday). In this class, both students and physics or biology teachers, with the help of English teachers, try to use English as much as possible!!
Anaelle has joined her homeroom class, 206. Students are excited to welcome their new classmate. She takes part in a lot of activities here. The experience surely will be beneficial for her and students of Saijo High School!
Anaelle, an exchange student from Germany, has started her new school life here!! All the students and teachers will support her so that her days in Saijo High School will be full of joy and friendship!!
We have a radio program, R.E.T.(Radio English Thursday), every Thursday, during lunch time. Members of E.S.S. ( English Speaking Society ) take turns broadcasting in English, inviting special guests. The first guest of this year is Mr. Nishimaru, a geography teacher. He talked about his hobbies and love for teaching. We hope this program will be a chance for students to be exposed to English, and students and teachers will enjoy it.
We have big and important tournaments called “the General Athletic Meet” this weekend. Students have been practicing hard for it every day. These pictures show how they are practicing. Please support Saijo High School!
Shelley, our ALT, created a new message board. "Easter" is its theme. Come and see it.
