The following is a student's response to the question, "What's your opinion about school uniforms for high school students?"

I'm against school uniforms.  I have two reasons.  First, I feel confortable.  It is becuase I always wear the same uniform as my friends.  So, it is difficult for me to show my personality to the full.  If iI wear everyday clothes, I can feel relaxed and ave a good time.Second, if I wear the school uniforms, I feel sometimes too hot or too cold because I can't choose which clothes I should wear.  Also, I want to enjoy choosing clothes which I wear everyday.For these reasons, I'm against school uniforms.

The following is a student's response to the question "What's your opinion about school uniforms for high school students?"

I have two opinions of the good points of school uniforms.  First, we don't choose our clothes every day.  Second, we cange our feelings vy wearing school uniforms.  On the other hand, I think that some people may suffer from wearing school uniforms.  They may hate to wear pants and skirts.  I'm against present school uniforms.  Present school uniforms are different widely between men's and women's.  I have my opinion.  It is to change choices men's and women's and to standardize one design of the school uniform.  Then I agree with school uniforms but it should be put ingenuity into the design.

The following is a student's response to the question "What's your opinion about school uniforms for high school students?"

I'm for school uniforms because there are several advantages to them.  First, we can save time.  I want to sleep as ong as possible.  So I don't have time to coordinate clothes in the morning.  We don't have to worry about vhoosing what to wear.  Second, we can have an awareness of being a member of our school by wearing the school u niform.  Finally, it is important to pass down a tradition to future genarations.  School uniforms have veen worn for a long time and it has history and tradition in each school.

I think that giving someonethe silent treatment is worse, because I felt sad when my friend gave me that treatment. I talked to her to solve theproblem.  Now my friend and I are getting along very well.  It is important for us to be nice to each other.

The following is a student's response to the question, "Which is worse, arguing with someone orfiving someonethesilent treatment?"

I think giving someonethesilent treatment is worse.  It is because if we argue with someone, possibly, we can solve the problem.  But if we give someone the silent treatment, we can't solve it.  I have solved a problem by arguing with my friend.  I don't like giving someone the silent treatment.

 

Ehime Senior High School Cultural Festival

On November 16th, Saturday, a science presentation contest was held.  The contest is part of Ehime Senior High School General Cultural Festival, and was held in the Science Museum in Niihama.
6 groups took part in the preliminary poster presentation session, and 4 groups progressed to the finals.  Two chemistry groups and one earth science group won the Good Performance Award, and one earth science group won the Incentive Award.

Groups which won the Good Performance Awards are going to take part in the nationwide contest in 2020.

The following is a student's response to the question, "Which is worse, arguing with someone orfiving someonethesilent treatment?"

I think that giving someone thesilent treatment is worse.  I have two reasons.  First, I felt sad when my friend gave me the silent treatment once.  I didn't know why she got angry, and I was bothered.  Second, giving someone thesilent teatment can't solve your problems.  It is important to talk about them and admit each other's opinions.

Multi Science Ⅰ(Interim Presentation)

On November 12th, Tuesday, Interim Presentation of Multi Science I, which is the subject Saijo High School sets, was held. 

Group Kabu-chan's, made a model poster presentation.  Their research theme is "Mystery of horseshe crabs--why they, one of the endangered species, have escaped mass extinction."   Ms Yamasaki from Okayama Prefectural Tamashima Senior High School and Mr Sato from Takamatsu Daiichi Senior High School gave them tips to improve their presentation.

Second year students, in total 57 groups of them, made a interim presentation respectively.  30 groups are working on research study in the field of liberal arts, while 27 groups on natural science.  First year students also took part in the presentation as audience.

The following is a student's response to the question, "Which is worse, arguing with someone orfiving someonethesilent treatment?"

I think giving someone the silent treatment is worse.  It's because doing so makes them sad.  When I was given the silent treatment by my brother, I felt sad.  Also, I think arguing with womeone is important,because we can't communicate without tellingour minds.  I think if we are angry at someone, we should tell them what we feel frankly.

Science Contest for Senior High School Students 2019 (Ehime University)

On November 10th, Sunday, Engaging Science Contest for Senior High School Students 2019 was held at Ehime University.  Eight students took part in the contest.  They progressed to the finals.  They won the Ehime Prefectural Board of Education Award for the second prize.
