The 34th High School Comprehensive Culture Festival
The presentation of nature and the chemistry department was held on November 4, at Ehime Prefectural Cultural Center. Seven groups of our students passed the first screening joined this contest: two physics groups, two chemistry groups and three earth science groups. The groups of earth science were selected for the Excellent Award and the Encouragement Award.
Mid\term presentation of Multi Science 1 was carried out on Thursday on November 5th. We reported assignments which tecond grade students have worked on so far(the humanities course with 29 works and the science course with 27 works). Many people came from various places such as the university of Ehime, that of Matsuyama, the comprehensive education center, the synthetic science museum, the college of technology of Niihama, Saijo city hall, some junior high schools and high schools. They came to advise Saijo high school students.
On Monday, September 14th, 1st year students had a lecture on how to make a town friendly to people with different cultures. Mr. Tomozawa from Saijo City Hall gave the lecture. He talked about several topics: how Saijo City interacts with oversea institutions, how the city is working to involve citizens into intercultural events, and what the epidemic of COVID-19 has brought about to the city.
On August 6th, a small ceremony was held at our principal's office for the students who won the prize in the Collaborative Regional Innovation Contest sponsored by Ehime University.

On July 17th, the 2nd year students in our literature course had a meeting and made a presentation about their research: how they had worked on the topic and how the research would go.
On July 16th, the 1st year students made a presentation about the current situation of medical affairs and disaster prevention in Saijo.
They talked about how they could solve some of the problems that Saijo is facing. They shared the ideas with their classmates.
